About Us

Lagganbeg is situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The shores of the loch are a short walk, where you can enjoy the magnificent views and tranquil setting of Scotlands largest freshwater loch.

The Wallace Monument stands tall overlooking a winding river and town.

Visit some of Scotlands beautiful cities, historical sites and other places of interest.  All within an easy day trip by car or public transport.

We welcome Touring caravans, Motor homes and Tents.  Organised groups ( i.e. charities, clubs etc) can be accommodated, please contact us for details.   Also available are Static Caravan pitches (subject to availability).  New and used caravans for sale, please contact us or check out our facebook page.     THE JOHN MUIR WAY PASSPORTS WELCOME

    The John Muir Way

    One of Scotland's great trails, The John Muir Way offers walkers and cyclists a unique journey through Scotland's landscapes, history and heritage.  

    Traversing central Scotland coast to coast in 134 miles, it links Helensburgh in the west with Dunbar in the east ( birthplace of 'father of national parks' John Muir).

    Location on Route

    Lagganbeg Caravan and Camping Park is situated within section 2 of the route ( please note the park is 3 miles off route) and is an ideal stop over for completing the trail,or base for shorter excursions. We accept tents, motor homes, touring caravans.  We also have camping cabins to rent.
